You’re Home at Avon Youth
Grade 6-12 students have a home every Tuesday from 7pm-9pm.
A place to belong, a place to ask questions, a place to be supported.
What to Expect:
Every Tuesday night, grade 6-12 students are invited to Stratford Intermediate School (SIS) from 7pm-9pm. We start with some hangout time, play group games, have a teaching time, and a time to chat and discuss. Throughout the night our students know they’re free to be themselves.
Our group is LGBTQ2S+ inclusive, you don’t need a church background to attend, and our group has no cost to families.
What Do We Teach?
At Avon we believe that a loving God made all humans beautifully! We believe that God loved us so much He came to Earth to be close to us, feel our pain, and journey with us. We believe that God’s name is Jesus.
At Avon we believe that everyone should have a voice at the table, everyone’s perspective matters. We believe that God has an amazing plan for your life and we want to support you as you figure it out.
Each month we teach a new series about life’s big questions and challenge students to take time to think about God, the world, and their place in it.
