Open House Details
When: 4p.m.- 7p.m. Saturday June 28th
Where: Peter and Liisa’s place (see Sunday Bulletin for address)
What: An Open House to celebrate the upcoming marriage of John to Janviere
For those who want to extend their best wishes, but cannot get to Rwanda for the wedding, this is for you! Bring a chair and a snack and come enjoy some time together with John before he goes to join his bride!
There will be a basket available for cards and financial gifts of support.
Also, we will be recording video messages that we will put together as a gift. Come prepared to say a little something for the camera!!
About John
John and his family came to Stratford two years ago after living in a refugee camp for many, many years. John helped us with filming that first summer he was here. His family was sponsored by Erb St. Mennonite so they attend there regularly. John also gave a presentation at Avon last August telling of his and his community's story. Avon helped John and his family settle into Stratford which is why he wants us to feel included in this special event.
If you can't come to the Open House, if you know John, and would like to send John a message, please send Lisa (see Sunday Bulletin for her email address) a quick video blessing and she will compile them together.
That would be a wonderful way to bless John and Janviere.
